Did a 4 week clinical clerkship in anesthesia here, the place is beautiful, small pavillons in a big Park, 30min by bus from Vienna's center.
I was with the anesthesia team in the orthopedic department and got to go some days in the pulmonary department too!
The doctors and nurses there were really friendly with me, even when my Deutsch was not really good, they let you do stuff if you ask, I got to pre-oxygenate all patients, put on the monitors, ECG, put veinflons, and intubate !
They also explained me the medications and monitors.
Overall would really recommend, it's a perfect introductions to anesthesia!!
